Seeking Registered Vascular Technologist & Lead Registered Vascular Technologist Responsible for performing those functions needed to complete vascular imagining procedures in accordance with Physicians' orders and exam protocol.

Prepares patients for imaging procedures by confirming physicians' orders, verifying patients' the medical history and appropriateness of examinations and facilitate timely accurate diagnosis of the patient.
.
Technical direction of the vascular lab and maintenance of the IAC accreditation status.
Support orientation, training, development, evaluation of RVT technical team.
.
Reviews patient schedules to promote efficient use of resources and proper selection of exam protocols.
.
Performs and documents daily start up, and routine maintenance of all imaging equipment.
.
Implements Universal Precaution when dealing with potentially Biohazardous situations.
.
Decontaminates imaging equipment when indicated.
.
Performs procedures on all patient age groups and maintains clinical competency as determined by the medical staff and evidenced by initial and then annual performance appraisals.
.
Supports and assists lnterventional Radiologist, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse and clinical staff as needed.
.
Archives, retrieves and manages images produced during procedures.
.
Adheres to departmental policies, procedures, standards, and protocols to ensure effective departmental operations and quality patient care.
.
Demonstrates a high degree of knowledge and understanding of Ultrasound and Vascular Imaging services/activities.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
