Work Schedule and Demand: Sales Associates will usually work between 60 - 70 hours per week, on a rotation-basis, between 9:00am to 8:00pm, including Saturdays and some holidays. The Associate will spend most of his/her time in the dealership, at a desk, but may occasionally be required to work outside on the lot in all weather conditions. The job can be stressful, particularly when the general manager is required to meet or surpass monthly objectives, and may require approximately 25% travel. Job Type : Full-time / Commission Required Education : High school or equivalent Required Experience : 3-years automotive sales Job Requirements Main Responsibilities: Work with the General Manager to forecast monthly sales forecast Meet monthly forecasts for sales volume and sufficient gross to meet profit objectives Reach out to customers through calls, messages, e-mails or any other mediums to spot their needs/preferences and ensure an opening for future business and sales offers Enhance customer satisfaction during the entire demonstration and purchase process Establish a positive relationship with customers and keep them abreast of all new inventory and current advertising efforts, including rebates and incentives Keep documents and files related to dealership and customers well-organized, safe and secure Understand, elaborate and display vehicles features, characteristics, and capabilities to customers Regularly carry out inspection of vehicles to ensure they are in top-shape for customer representation and sales Perform price negotiations with customers to strike a favorable bargain Work closely with the Finance Officer to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approach Assist the Finance Officer with closing of sales deals ensuring explanation of vehicle warranty terms, completion of sales contracts, payment and delivery of auto units to customers Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Dealership's Values, in all interactions with customers, co-workers and third-party vendors Keep office, documents and desk organized and in an orderly fashion Other duties may be assigned by the management Preferred Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent 3-years clear driving record (no previous DUI history, moving violations or criminal history) 3-years proven used car sales experience Basic accounting and computer skills Qualifications: Two or more years of previous sales experience in a used car dealership Proficient at operating a personal computer including: Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Ability to work independently and be self-motivated A desire to work as a full-time or in a commission, performance-based, environment Negotiation Skills: well-versed in conducting negotiations with customers to reach a profitable bargain for the dealership Excellent persuasive skills: ability to convince customers to make purchases, despite reservations Strong mathematical skills to conduct sales negotiations and closing deals Great attitude with high-energy personality, professional appearance and work ethics Excellent customer service skills with outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver license and a good driving record

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
