Job Description General Labor Job Summary Automation Personnel Services is now hiring for General Labor positions in Fredericksburg, VA. Positions are temp to hire, and some starting immediately. We are seeking individuals with motivation, the passion to succeed, and the ability and desire to work in a team environment, as well as independently when needed. All positions will require those applying to stand for the entire shift. This is a hands-on position, and attention to detail is important. General Labor Duties and Responsibilities: Performing varying warehouse duties from sorting and picking. Position calls for great attention to detail. Pay Rate: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour, depending on experience. Schedule and Hours: First and second shifts available. General Labor Requirements and Qualifications: Punctual, reliable, and ready for work. Ability to take direction and communicate effectively and professionally. Outstanding attendance. Stable and reliable transportation. Ability to stand, reach, and bend throughout shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift to 60 lbs throughout the shift. Social distancing measures are in place, and all are required to wear safety goggles and masks which are provided. Dress code standards include wearing closed toe shoes; no tank tops or shorts above the knees. Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly environments is a plus. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
