TRAINING SPECIALIST

INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT (IOR) Undergraduate and Graduate Education:
Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. OR Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results. Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. AND In addition to meeting the Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR) above, applicants must also meet the qualifications outlined below. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicant must possess quality level experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of creditable experience include:
knowledge of learning theory and the principles, methods, practices and techniques of adult education/training to administer, advise on, design, develop, or provide educational or training services through Joint Training System modes and methods. Note:
Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. OR EDUCATION:

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of learning theory and the principles, methods, practices and techniques of adult education/training to administer, advise on, design, develop, or provide educational or training services through Joint Training System modes and methods. Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structure, and operations of the OSD, Joint Staff, CCMDs, Services, and some non-DoD agencies and Multinational partners to provide staff level education, training, and guidance on Personnel Recovery programs and plans. Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of instruction to include use of technology for design and delivery of training. Knowledge of process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, benchmarking, metric/statistical analysis, and process flow-charting. Ability to plan, organize, and integrate functions within a DoD agency as well as lead teams/projects with other DoD employees or contractors. Ability to interpret and teach doctrine, plans, policies, procedures, and rapidly evolving complex concepts which govern and inform the establishment and maintenance of PR plans, programs, and technology requirements Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, in the presence of large student bodies, conference audiences, and senior military/government civilian leaders. Experience:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
