New Horizons Professional ABA Services Inc.is a licensed company by Virginia's Department of Behavior Health and Developmental Services. NHABA. is a for profit company providing ABA Therapy for individuals with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities in the homes of families throughout Northern Virginia. New Horizons typically provides services for children of the age of 2 to 21, however, services can be provided for older individuals dependent on the funding source. Professional Education and Respite Service was created by its founder and President Jesse Kushner, M. Ed. in 2005 to bridge the gap between school and home to ensure continuity and consistent practices in the home. In August of 2014, PERS changed its name. New Horizons Professional ABA Services continues its former namesake and mandates that parents participate in training and has parents sign participation agreements prior to providing services. NHABA strives for independent functioning for the individuals served but for the family as well. Services are provided in the home and community as families are trained in how to effectively manage and teach their children in a wide variety of community outings. New Horizons Professional ABA Services Inc. is a fee for service business and does not limit the amount of money a clinical supervisor can make by giving them a salary. Both part and full-time BCBA's are encouraged to apply.
New Horizons Professional ABA Services is now seeking BCBA and BCaBA supervisors in Stafford County Virginia to provide services for the families living within this county.
Qualifications:
o Fully certified by the BACB, and licensed by Virginia's Board of Medicine.
o BCBA's willing to supervise individuals pursuing certification in behavior analysis are preferred
o Experience working with children and/or adults on the autism spectrum.
Responsibilities:
o Conducts clinical assessments utilizing the following assessments ABLLS, VBMAPP, and the AFLS.
o Trains through discussion, role play and models the program and lessons for the parent and therapists.
o Writes and amends Individual Service plans at a minimum of every six months.
o Writes monthly and quarterly progress reports.
o Document supervision notes and communication logs every training, observation, and phone call to the family and therapist.
o Reviews data collected by the therapist and family and makes programmatic adjustments as needed.
o Meets with the therapist weekly for a minimum of two hours
o Is in the home training and reviewing progress weekly.
o Attends Quarterly trainings to support their staff and are encouraged to conduct some of the training.
o When requested by the office administration or by the Senior Behavior Analysts attendance is mandatory.
o Part-time supervisors must work a minimum of two cases.
o Full-time supervisors must work 30 billable hours.
Benefits:
o HEALTH INSURANCE
BCBA's and BCaBA's earn what they want to earn based on how many billable hours they complete per week. BCaBA's can work as clinical supervisors for Medicaid cases.
o BCBA's working 25 billable hours per week could make 60,000 per year, BCBA's working 35 billable hours per week will earn over $91,000.
o BCABA's working a minimum of 25 billable hours per week can earn 52,000 per year and if they work 35 billable hours per week they could earn $72,000 per year
o Full-time Clinical Supervisors (32 billable hours) and are eligible for health insurance. PERS will pay a maximum of 50% of the cost.
o After the first year of employment, a clinical supervisor working 30 billable hours per week will receive two weeks leave based on their average billable hours per week.
o Provided Supervision by one of the best Senior Behavior Analysts in the country and is always available for support through emails, phone and at a minimum of once per month directly.
o Provided with free CEU from Medicaid and through the companies training program
o Provided all Assessment tools.
o Work with Therapists that receive 40 hours of ABA training, quarterly trainings, and must have a Bachelor's degree in the human service field.
o All employees are able to make up hours missed due to illness or vacation time within established guidelines.
