Description Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for Marketing Director.
The Marketing Director plans and executes the marketing strategy for Eastern Sports Management (ESM).
This leader must be willing to roll up their sleeves and dig into the day-to-day work, but also have the insight to make the appropriate connections to the strategic vision of the organization.
This position is located at the corporate office in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Major Objectives of the Marketing Director:
Bring overall awareness and traffic to ESM businesses Create and drive all aspects of ESM business campaigns Create and foster ESM culture inside the Marketing department Manage the voice of ESM through brand consistency, management of our digital assets, and the education of ESM staff Build marketing systems and processes that will allow ESM to scale our results with our growth in venues effectively and efficiently Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns Facilitate sponsorship fulfillment initiatives Create and oversee the implementation of active and engaging content for 30
social media accounts Uphold the company culture in all communications with accounts and stakeholders Stay updated with the latest industry marketing trends Maintain relationships with local media outlets in various markets Manage the brand for each account via the development of style guides and brand standards Copywriting for print and digital communications Link tracking and analytics Deliver monthly reports that communicate a simplistic scoreboard to the ESM team that the marketing department is meeting its commitment to driving traffic and conversions to our business Update websites regularly to reflect current programming and facility initiatives Produce a communication strategy that fosters community with clients to best understand their needs and explain product value Build relationships with clients and stakeholders based on trust and respect Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior Keep accurate records and account notes Maintain updated knowledge of a wide array of company products and services Manage feedback from review platforms, resolve customer complaints, and prevent escalation of issues by improving processes Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the guest experience Identify new ways to reach our target demographic in an efficient and effective manner RequirementsBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field Demonstrated ability to write creatively and uphold the voice of the brand Strong knowledge of website analytics tools Ability to build structure and processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Showcase knowledge and understanding of social media marketing Ability to meet project deadlines Demonstrate excellent time management abilities Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Good analysis and reporting skills Ability to understand the target audience Good critical thinking and decision-making abilities Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends Lead a team of multiple marketing managers in multiple markets Proven work experience in sports, recreation, events, or hospitality preferred Technical Requirements Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following technological platforms:
Canva Adobe Creative Suite Google Professional Suite (Workspace, Analytics, Ads Manager) Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms) Asana Raydiant DaySmart Recreation Toast Social Pilot Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Maps/Business, YouTube WordPress Squarespace Candidates are required to submit a portfolio including examples of their work on these platforms.

REGULAR TRAVELEnvironmental Setting The Marketing Director will normally work in a temperature and humidity controlled environment.
Occasional exposure to outside ambient conditions may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
