Job Duties Include:
Work within clients homes to assist themselves or their family with defining the goals in the least restrictive environment to foster personal growth.
Develop relationships with family members, become invested in their clients' future and become an advocate for their client Work with the client's community service providers, teachers, principals, lawyers, probation officers and psychiatrists Provide crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Track all individualized service plans and paperwork Manage paperwork and meeting deadlines Attend staff meetings and communicating with supervisors Discuss updates, progress and concerns with supervisors on a weekly basis Coordinate with community service providers
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with a concentration in psychology, social work, human services, special education or counseling; Masters degree preferred but not required Minimum 1 year experience working with children with SED diagnosis and providing therapeutic and case management services to children who are at risk for out-of-home placement Clean driving record Basic computer and documentation skills Flexibility This position requires you to be registered with the Board of Counseling as a QMHP-C.
